The Pursuit of Happiness

March 20th marks the day of happiness. But why specify a day for it when you can release your baggage?

So, what causes happiness? What gives people joy? There are probably as many causes as there are people, but what type of contentment are we talking about here?

Start choosing to be happy!

1) Splash and Get Exercised:

Start your day with prayers; getting sacred is an amazing way to start your day.  The best time to exercise depends on your schedule and your body, the odds are in favor of morning workouts. Think about it.

2) Enjoy the Present Moment:

If you always look towards tomorrow for a moment of bliss, odds are you will do the same when you attain what you’ve been dreaming of.

It’s more about how you measure the good things in your life at any given time. Finding reasons to be happy now could benefit your future.

3) Envision Works with Love:

When were you last glad at work? What would you love to do with your time and your life? If the answer looks nothing that you should change your mind then:

4) Update Yourself:

Read a Book/Newspaper everyday(Not a Facebook). Books are concentrated sources of wisdom. The more books you read, the more wisdom you expose yourself to.

5) Reduce the time you spend on Social Media Platforms:

Having Social Media Platforms, open as default result in a wastage of time. This time can be much better spent on other activities.

6) Learn lesson from your past!

Is there any grievances or regrets from the past which you have been holding on? Break away from the past, forgive yourself, and move on.

7) Show kindness to People!

Most of us don’t show enough kindness to people around us. Being kind helps us to cultivate other qualities such as compassion, patience, and love. Often someone who is sad, depressed, angry, or frustrated just needs someone who will listen. Talking through an issue is a big help indeed.

8)Spend Quality time with your Parents:

Spend time with your parents, Show how you love them.Treat them well.

You have other things to do, But they might not.

9)Gaming Reduce Stress:

Games are thought to induce stress, especially when you see your character struck down for the umpteenth time, the opposite can be true. They could improve your self power decision quickly in troubled condition.

And Last, but no least

10) Commit to your personal growth:

You are responsible for your personal growth, not anyone else. Not your mom, your dad, your friend. Make the decision to commit to your personal growth and embrace yourself to a lifelong journey of growth and change.

 The results may not be immediate, but I assure you that as long as you stick to it, you’ll start seeing positive changes in yourself and your life.
